Sempai Shawn Boyer began his training in martial arts in Tae Kwon Do in 1982 under Master Maurice Orange (American Tae Kwon Do Association) in San Diego, CA.  Being a military dependant, he moved to Washington State and later continued Tae Kwon Do training in Oak Harbor, WA.  In the US Army he studied under Sensei Kelley Gorman (Goju) in Germany and Sensei Ernesto "Nestee" Luis (Arkijutsu) in Philippines.

Sempai Boyer finally achieved the rank of Shodan on the historic 3rd anniversary of Grand Master Odo's passing, March 24th, 2005 under Sensei Paul Ortino, Jr.  Still active duty Army, he intends to teach and grow further in OKKK, but in various locations. Contact info: cpt_boyer@hotmail.com
